About Mabel & Me

Hello, I’m Debbie, mum to three wonderful girls and creator of Mabel & Me. We live near the beautiful city of Bath, where my journey began with a simple idea that grew into something truly special.

The inspiration for Mabel’s Mouse House came while my eldest daughter and I were making a birthday present for her friend. I’ve always loved traditional, timeless toys that encourage imagination and storytelling — the kind that feel magical and meaningful. I wanted to create something that I would have adored as a child, while also ensuring it was kind to our planet by using sustainable materials.

Each of my daughters has played a part in bringing Mabel & Me to life. My youngest even came up with our name! Their creativity and enthusiasm have been a joy to share, and I hope this experience shows them the pride that comes from creating something with love, care, and hard work.

It’s been such a delight to see Mabel & Me grow — from the original Mouse House to new favourites like the Mimi Mouse Sleepover Set and Woodland Wonders: Betsy Bunny’s Little Tree Stump Shop. Every piece is made to spark joy, nurture imagination, and bring a touch of wonder to playtime.
